So then, how do we make this work? What needs to be done? How do we get new members? How do we get what we want?
Bear in mind, that all this is yours, this site isn't mine, it's the community's.

I reckon the interface needs tidying up a bit: n00bs might find all the options a bit offputting (mayhap merge photo's, video's and audio stuff into it's own category) "Gigs and Events" should be like the 2nd most prominent option - It'd be great to use this site as a one-stop gig guide for at least Brighton and London. Not sure how to get people to consistently add new events though.

Also, do we need "Groups" when we can just create a relevant Forum thread? Or Vice-versa? I'm open to persuasion for it's case, but this sites fairly exclusive as it is, let along setting up even more exclusive groups within it!

Smaller. Neater. Tidyer. Sexier. Recalcitrantier.
